AU PaRC

A lettermark for Australian Plumbing and Roofing Consultants that folds both trades into one mark: a roofline over the top, a pipe built into the stroke, and "A" and "P" interlocked to carry them.

Challenge

AU PaRC consults across two trades at once, plumbing and roofing, and needed one mark that could say both without splitting into two symbols or leaning entirely on the initials. The logo also had to hold up as a small embroidered patch on a cap or a shirt, not just as a clean vector on a page.

Solution

The mark interlocks "A" and "P," AU PaRC's core initials, into a single lettermark, then builds both trades directly into the construction: a roofline forms the peak over the top of the letters, and a pipe fitting is worked into the stroke connecting them. Nothing is decorative, every element in the mark is doing double duty as a letterform and a symbol of the work itself.

A single confident navy keeps the mark simple to reproduce, print, embroider, or stamp on a job-site sign, without needing a broader color system to stay recognizable.

Logo System

Every shape doing double duty.

The roof, the pipe, and the two initials, built from the same construction.

Discover

Brief centered on representing two trades, plumbing and roofing, in a single mark built on the "A" and "P" initials.

Design

Roofline and pipe fitting worked directly into the letterform construction rather than added as separate icons.

Apply

Mark tested on-site and on apparel, a cap, a polo, and a job-site rooftop photo, before handoff.

Results

The result is a single lettermark AU PaRC can stamp on a sign, stitch on a cap, or print on a shirt and have it read as both trades at once.
